    Norwegian Risk Consulting International – NRCI – is a geopolitical risk consultancy founded in 2010. Our main office is located in Oslo. We provide objective and detailed standardized and bespoke risk assessments to companies, investor groups and governments in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Our operational and strategic advisory services inform our clients with valuable insights. Norwegian Risk Forum is NRCI’s annual international conference in Oslo examining geopolitical risks and international business.


    Who can apply?

    NRCI’s Global Internship Program welcomes applications from highly qualified and motivated bachelor and master’s degree students worldwide. We welcome applications from a range of academic disciplines including political science, international relations, social anthropology, history, business, finance, informatics, web design, architecture, arts, design and urban planning, graphic design and video editing. We look for interns who are mature, focused and dedicated. Our interns conduct their internships from their home locations worldwide.

    NRCI is a geopolitical advisory firm based in Oslo, supporting corporate clients, banks and financial firms, foundations, NGOs, government agencies and international organizations seeking to establish operations, plan investments or manage ongoing operations in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

You develop new relevant skills in a professional work environment. You mature through continuous feedback processes, and you gain increased self-awareness, resilience and robustness preparing you for future career plans.

    You learn to communicate in a professional manner both in conversations and in writing. You learn to handle challenges and responsibility in a rewarding work environment where tasks and international projects emerge and evolve over time. These experiences are highly valuable for future career ambitions and life in general.

    You receive systematic feedback driving your growth and character-building throughout your internship experience. NRCI’s value and feedback-driven work culture nurture growth, reflective thinking and grounded self-awareness.

    How NRCI’s internship program is structured

    NRCI’s Global Internship Program lasts 1 full year for master’s students and 2 years for bachelor students. Our internships are unpaid with approximately 16 hours of work per week. We communicate in secure video meetings and communication channels, which ensure that our interns receive continuous support, systematic feedback and engaging work projects which constantly challenge and improve their professional skills and competence.

    As a Global Intern in NRCI you will be challenged to develop your skills in a range of fields and areas, and you are encouraged to contribute to the growth and development of NRCI in a proactive and constructive manner. You join a dynamic global work environment and as an intern in NRCI you will be an important member of NRCI’s team.
